Before embarking on my career in Real Estate I enjoyed a 15-plus year career in Radio as an ON-AIR FM PERSONALITY and Programmer at multiple stations in Providence, Boston and syndicated on more than 75 stations across North America. | |
In that time my creative efforts with my private recording studio expanded from mostly radio commercials for the Nightclub & Bar Industry to a series of production assignments in the Music Industry. I eventually worked my way up to the position of EXECUTIVE PRODUCER and PROGRAM DIRECTOR with X-MIX (a global company that is also known as America's premiere Remix, Compilation and Programming Service for Radio Stations and Professional DJ's). |  |

| I seized the opportunity to rack up over 1,000 Producer/Remixer credits with many International and Independent Record Labels along with every Major Record Label in the United States. I also had lots of fun working in every major New England Nightclub as a DJ, Host and Entertainer. |
Since 1992 my work has appeared in TV Commercials, Movie Soundtracks, CD/Mix compilations and Radio Stations on every continent around the world. | |

The X-MIX crew invaded the DJ TIMES Annual Convention to meet up with some of the 50,000 DJ's from around the world that subscribe to Boston's internationally famous X-MIX Remix Service. "Other than the opportunity to meet with lots of Pro DJ's, Producers, future Remixers and Music Industry insiders that make our company as great as it is... it's just another gig" said Donnie Bennett who had the task of being the DJ for all of the DJ's at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, New Jersey. - June 1999 | |
In the Summer of 2001 I traded the glamorous, yet hectic, schedule of spontaneously flying across the country in the X-MIX "Company Jet" (a prop plane with no discernable safety features) for a more conventional home-life right here in Rhode Island. |  |
I accepted a position with a local Mortgage Brokerage where my team and I succeeded at consistently breaking sales records each month. It was at this point that I began to lay the foundation for my career as a Real Estate Professional. | |

| Shortly after entering the Mortgage business I quickly found myself on the wrong end of a horrendous home buying experience. Idiotically, I purchased a new construction property directly from an unscrupulous builder - and without the assistance of a REALTOR® - which was a huge mistake on my part. |
| After backtracking the facts and researching State Laws and Statutes I figured out that all of my problems could have been completely eliminated if I had been smart enough to seek professional representation at the very beginning of my quest for new property. It then became clear to me that my personal abilities and professional efforts would be better served as an advocate for people in the home buying or home selling process - as a REALTOR®!! |  |

| By the end of 2002 I obtained my Real Estate License and was quickly recruited by RE/MAX. Iproudly seized the opportunity to join their most prominent and respected office in the Ocean State, on Main Street in East Greenwich. | |
While working there I encountered many great people and gained valuable experience as I continued mastering my craft. I was fortunate in the fact that my overall skill set turned out to be an ideal match for the fast-paced and contract-driven world of Real Estate. | |
| I soon found ways to utilize the creative promotional tactics of my past, as a Music Industry Executive, to develop marketing techniques that set my business apart from my peers and allowed me to offer superior service to my clients (no matter how unique their property or their tastes for property might be). |  |
By the end of 2004 I realized many personal goals as a REALTOR® and happily completed the rewarding transformation from Award Winning Record Producer to Award Winning Multi-Million Dollar Producer!! | |
 | The funny thing about evolution sometimes is that the more things change, the more they stay the same. How so? Because in 2006 I used my experience in Real Estate, combined with my ambition to help people, and my background in Radio to become known as Rhode Islands "RADIO REALTOR®"!! By creating REAL ESTATE 101 I was once again behind a live microphone in a state-of-the-art studio. This time it was on Providence's top TALK RADIO Station... | In my capacity as REAL ESTATE 101 Host I used the Radio Show to provide hundreds of hours of public service to tens of thousands of faithful WPRO listeners and to my fellow REALTORS® alike. Along with my good friend, Stephen Antoni, I welcomed a variety of colleagues and professionals onto the airwaves to help articulate issues that surround the process of buying and selling Real Estate in, and around, Rhode Island. Plus... we had lots of laughs along the way. |

I strive to keep things informative and fun but my duty goes beyond Selling, or helping someone to Buy a home.

In September of 2007 I happily embarked on a new phase of my career
by helping to launch a great new LOCAL brand of Real Estate. By the early part of
2008 I also left the radio show in the rear view mirror so that I could
shift things into high gear
with my NEW company. | |
By recognizing that the confines and expenses of working with a large firm were limiting my ability to serve my clients; I
marched towards a "JUMP in EVOLUTION"...
which left me
open to a whole new UNIVERSE of possibilities!! |  | |

I have finally come home to my Rhode Island roots.
Much like any upward movie

it has been, and continues to be, an exciting experience to practice
